SOMNIA: OPT-IN SURVEY
I play an arthropod-based Offering with heightened chemical-sensing capability, to the point that certain substances could cause disorientation, overstimulation, repulsion, etc.
SO, I'd like to play a game of "Hey, what do they smell like?" with an extra step. This may never come up, but we love talking about our characters so here we goβtell me what the bug might detect on them!
Character Name:
Username:
General Scent: Overall, what does your character smell like normally?
Exposure to Substances: What substances, chemicals or chemical-producing items are they frequently in contact with? Ex: cigarettes, gasoline, bath oils, cleaning products, etc.
Anything else to note? Are they feeling cute today Y/N? Tell me whatever else you'd like!

General Scent: Variable based on emotions! (More information available beneath Illusionist Traits Here)
Exposure to Substances: Occasional weed, alcohol, or tobacco, but I'd be more than willing to add scent flavor text to any of our future threads.
Anything else to note? Chances are good her magical scent would mostly override any other substances he'd pick up on, but they'd linger beneath them, like someone trying to disguise a scent with perfume.

General Scent: Top notesβozone and motor oil, middle note-citrus, bottom noteβcedar
Exposure to Substances: Hair wax, alcohol wipes, antibacterial hand soap (lemon fresh), powder detergent (tide), leather, shampoo/bath soap, toothpaste, deodorant, cleaning sprays
Anything else to note? Most of his clothes are as much natural fiber as possible (wool, linen, leather, cotton). He sometimes wears cologne, but not often.

General Scent: Initially bitter, like coffee or dark chocolate, but turning into a yummy prey animal so it has a surprisingly sweet note!
Exposure to Substances: Body rotting from the inside out from substance abuse. Alcohol, some cigarettes, cheap deodorant, cheap toothpaste, more alcohol.
Anything else to note? A man fighting against a petting zoo smell every day of the week.

General Scent: Sirius smells like death and the black shroud that wraps around most of his body smells like sand, not cloth.
Exposure to Substances: old books and sleep mold, he spends most of his time in a bookstore bar that's been partly overgrown by fungi.
Anything else to note? I love your attention to detail with Ivan's changes so feel free to add this mechanic to any of our future threads! I'm not sure Sirius will use his somnolent gaze on Ivan again, but if he does it could be fun to combine Ivan's chemical sensing with Sirius's hypnotism and have that Sirius scent changes to whatever makes Ivan feel safe.

General Scent: MAN IDK MAN. It's Till. He probably just smells sweet to Ivan??? LMAO. He stays clean, uses plain soap, and probably avoids overly smelly things because he's not used to them.
Exposure to Substances: Mostly his art supplies. His hands probably smell like graphite, and he often uses various paints, including spray paint, so he can occasionally smell like those. And sometimes, he might smell like the various instruments he's handled (type of wood, or brass, etc)
Again, when it comes to personal hygiene, he uses whatever he can find that isn't too "smelly". But you make do with whatever you find! His preference is No Scent, though.
Anything else to note? I just trust you to write whatever suits Till best LMFAO. Certain scents probably become more pronounced when they are being intimate... I imagine. Though I imagine his fear or discomfort probably would give off a sharp sort of scent or something, too. His body is just really honest.

General Scent: Ginger with undertones of the zoo. (Namely, the animals he'd normally be able to summon as shikigami, so: dogs, rabbits, frogs, snakes, bird...thing, ox, elephant, deer, tiger. Mahoraga is exempt because who the fuck knows.)
Exposure to Substances: Soap and some cleaning products are probably the most common ones.
Anything else to note? I figure the individual animal scents might be more or less prominent based on mood or just what we think would be fun in a thread, so you can always hit me up if you think this would be a great time for him to smell like bunnies or whatever.

General Scent: Cat fur!? 10-in-1 shampoo... Cigarette smoke for sure.
Exposure to Substances: Cigarette smoke, cigaratte smoke, basic hygiene products, more cigarette smoke.
Anything else to note? The scent I have down for his territorial animal stuff is something like pine trees and mountain air if that's anything!?
