SOMNIA: OPT-IN SURVEY

I play an arthropod-based Offering with heightened chemical-sensing capability, to the point that certain substances could cause disorientation, overstimulation, repulsion, etc.

SO, I'd like to play a game of "Hey, what do they smell like?" with an extra step. This may never come up, but we love talking about our characters so here we go—tell me what the bug might detect on them!

Character Name:
Username:
General Scent: Overall, what does your character smell like normally?
Exposure to Substances: What substances, chemicals or chemical-producing items are they frequently in contact with? Ex: cigarettes, gasoline, bath oils, cleaning products, etc.
Anything else to note? Are they feeling cute today Y/N? Tell me whatever else you'd like!

Character Name: Sirius Uhr
Username: [personal profile] guidingbookworm
General Scent: Sirius smells like death and the black shroud that wraps around most of his body smells like sand, not cloth.
Exposure to Substances: old books and sleep mold, he spends most of his time in a bookstore bar that's been partly overgrown by fungi.
Anything else to note? I love your attention to detail with Ivan's changes so feel free to add this mechanic to any of our future threads! I'm not sure Sirius will use his somnolent gaze on Ivan again, but if he does it could be fun to combine Ivan's chemical sensing with Sirius's hypnotism and have that Sirius scent changes to whatever makes Ivan feel safe.
